Most clients find microneedling very comfortable. You may experience a mild scratching or prickling sensation during treatment, but it is generally well tolerated. Your skin may feel warm afterwards, similar to mild sunburn.

Your appointment will last approximately 60 minutes, including your consultation, treatment and post-treatment skincare.

You can expect mild redness and sensitivity for 24–72 hours after treatment. Some clients also experience slight tightness or light flaking as the skin naturally renews.

Who is this treatment not suitable for?
Microneedling may not be suitable if you:
• Have active acne breakouts, cold sores or a skin infection in the treatment area
• Are you pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have used isotretinoin (Roaccutane) within the last 6–12 months
• Have open wounds, cuts or sunburn
• Have certain medical conditions or are taking medications that may affect healing
• Have recently had Botox®, dermal fillers, chemical peels or laser treatments (your therapist will advise on suitable treatment timings)
